I finally got a job. (yes! one less thing to worry about... well...) anyway, I am working at the Surf n' slurp in the parking lot at Days Market. So far it is a lot of fun and i am really enjoying myself. School starts next week and i am slightly nervous but I have faith that everything is going to work out for the best. As long as I stay true to what I know, the Lord will take care of me, or help me take care of myself.
The snow cones are super delicious. We have about 46 different flavors. My favorites so far are; red raspberry with cream and blue raspberry agave (Agave is sugar free so it does not give me a stomach ache). Next weekend I am going on a camp out with the 17th ward (my singles ward) I am excited but I wish that it was not the weekend right before school starts.
Okay so, I had an awful dream last night. My book shelf that I made started falling
apart. All of the joints started coming loose which is similar to what is happening to my chess board as I type. I tried to fix it but it was just not working so I threw it on the ground and it shattered. My mom started crying, I yelled about how much of a failure I was and then the dream was over. Sad right?
Well have a great day thanks for reading my blog! if you can you should drop by and see me at the shack sometime. See you later!!!

Sorry! life has been... crazy. I graduated from Timpview High school last Thursday (May 27th). When i arrived to the ceremony I realized that I had left my honor chords at home. I frantically called home and explained my dilemma. I shifted back and forward as I waited nervously in line for someone to heroically come through the door with my chords in hand. The line started to move which meant that soon I would be walking out onto the floor with out my honor chords. just seconds before I entered to march with the rest of my class I heard a familiar voice gasp, "oh thank goodness!" I turned to see Hannah with my chords stretched toward my face. Her and my dad were gasping for air as they wished me luck. Dad snapped last minute pictures and I walked into the large room that was now full of family members, friends, and teachers. I sat with my class of about 500 as we listened to the inspirational speeches that were given by talented classmates. Then we started the hour and a half long walking, which I imagine was much more painful for the supporters than the graduates, at least we got to stand up and walk around for a while. When it was my turn to walk across the stage Mr.Monks attempted straightening my hat which was acting like a wet bar of soap on my small head and silky hair. a friend gave me a hug and then I was guided to the picture man. Now I was in the moment that I had waited for four years to be in. I was finally in the short 30 seconds that I had worked so hard for and I could not even keep my hat on. With one hand on my head and the other shaking countless hands, I walked across the stage and took my seat. energy filled the room as our senior class president announced, "Timpview class of 2010 you are now graduated, please move your tassels from the right to the left".Hats flew, friends hugged, and some even cried. After graduation I quickly said good by to a few of my friends, jumped in the crowded van with my family, and left to Goblin Valley where we spent Friday and Saturday. It was a lot of fun. Isn't family great? first they saved me from suffering the consequences of my scattered brain and than they put up with my complaints while camping (plus I had a grand time with them!. I am glad to be graduated and to be started on the real journey. I wish
Rebekah and Daniel could have been there but I know that they were in spirit. Hooray for the class of 2010 and good bye High school!

Letter to Home

I try to write Daniel once a week and I do pretty well. Last week he wrote me and I just got another letter from him today. Here is part of it:
"First to answer the question of if it is warm here. The answer is no, it is very hot. This past week it has constantly been in the 90's with 80%-95% humidity. It is still spring, but last week is has been hotter feeling than the hottest in Utah. I find it kind of funny that I'm burning here, but in Utah it's cold. I miss the snow. Snow doesn't stick here at all. It snows or ices and sticks about 3 times a year. and the snow only stays on the ground for about 6 hours. It actually isn't as hot today as normal because it just rained a lot. It rained all of last night, and this morning till 11:00. It is still sprinkling. The humidity is dropping now too."
I am grateful for my siblings serving missions we really are blessed because of them. For more about Elder Finch and Sister Rebekah Finch visit afootortwo.blogspot.com (it is in my blog list on the side). Have a GOOD DAY!!!!!!!

For every one ready for the next step (as in people like me:D)

I am sorry to inform you that I have a disease,
there's not much to do to make me at ease.
The medication is rare and hardly ever found,
its chocolate, maybe, or running out of town.

I don't throw up or have a sniff,
though my brain is raw and hands are stiff.
I probably wont die, though I've heard some do,
but I may never be the same me you once knew.

It makes me cry than laugh uncontrollably.
Although I am bright I feel like a fool to be.
My muscles are mushy and my eyes have dimmed.
My feet are weary and I am noodle lambed.

What once was fun, now is boring.
Now I sit but once was soaring,
The disease that has made me all a miss,
is nothing but senioritis.

With passion gone I must finish what I started,
for not all hope has with me parted.
After a storm comes a rainbow,
a new begining not high school lame-bo.

High school has not been totally bad.
In fact I am grateful, its been kinda rad!
Because of my teachers, and text books of sorts,
I have plenty opportunities like west coastal ports

So don't feel to bad I will be better soon.
The cure is simply passing of the moon.
though chocolate is nice and makes time fly
The best thing to do is hold my head high.

I will finish strong and do my best,
fate will determine most the rest.
For now I will smile and help others too
I wont let it beat me, will you?

Sring Break

It is spring break and I am tired
you would expect me to be totally wired
but it is spring break and I am tired
I think that I my awakeness has been fired
because it is spring break and I am tired
Spring break started on Monday and we have the entire week off, which is super great because I am totally burned out from school. Sunday was Easter and it was a lot of fun. Saturday and Sunday was General Conference which was, of course, Amazing. Any way, I am so tired that my eyes are just closing on me. OH I need a Job so if you hear of anything let me know! I am almost a poor college student. =( I guess I will have to nap latter and take time Right now to look for a job. (heavy sigh)

This would not go away so I had to post it.

But it was a cool picture any way so... oh well.
