HI friends! today is the day,

that I am not to delay!

Homework, and cleaning, and helping of sorts.

no more twisting and tying and making of torts.

I am to work and not to complain,

smiling happily, all the same

I have waited so long to get these things done.

no more excuses for having fun.

BYU essays, psychology report,

physiology terms, my list is not short.

So here i go its time to get started

but with my fun i am not parted.

for being productive is hard it's true,

but by the time the day is through,

you feel so good about all that you've done,

and just think tomorrow you can have fun!

Young Womens ball and Classical music

Man!!! it happened again. :( I erased a long post. tear...sniff...scowel...angryeyes...compasion...forgivness...moving on. Basket ball last night was fun, other than the large bruise on my hip. Church ball is usually fun especially since we have only been trying to win by happy points. I have never gotten mad at a game after I made my goal I have be all smiles plus a lot of sorry's. I have found that it is hard to seem nice when you steel the ball from someone, or aggressively get the rebound but those are my favorite things to do (because I can not make a basket for my life...okay that was an over statement, it I was going to die and making a basket would prevent it I think that I could. wow tangent). So If I ever steel the ball, legally of coarse, or get the rebound I just smile and I make sure not to rub it in or celebrate. I act as if I am simply taking the ice cream that I bought out of the frizzer to eat. No need to say sorry, and no reason to gloat. I have also managed to eliminate all of my harsh words and complaints, which is a major improvement from last year. I would say that I am almost agreeable to play with. After the game last night we went to an orchestra concert which featured some of the talented Timpview musicians, such as an opera singer (who was amazing) Healther Wilson on the cello (also amazing) and Jo (my friend) on the clarinet, he did really well. I love the classical music, it is so peaceful. It was a fun night and I am glad that I have the opportunities that I have. = D (that is my grateful face.)

Oh sad story! so, I just wrote this long beautiful post, and then with a simple slip of my wrists and pound of a key it vanished. and there is no undo here, so... sigh... oh well. It snowed last night and it was purly magic! this morning a group of friends woke up at 6:30 to shovel walks. It was great and I love to serve. Now I am waiting for breakfast as the warmth of the freshly started fire creeps up the stairs. It's just not the same writing all of this for the second time. It is more of a burden now. sigh...blink...tear :'( oh well life goes on. sniff... blink... smile. :D.

Attack!

So, I am supposed to be typing my BYU scholarship essays but I am being attacked by an attention hog kitten. His name is Kyo (key-oh). Lisa got him yesterday after years and years of waiting. She fell in love with him the moment that she saw him at the shelter. He is a ball of love and lots of fun. I came into Lisa's room with the lap top so that he would not be so lonely. I started to type and not long after that he jumped on my head and started to eat my flower. I took the flower away and found a toy for him. I attempted typing with one hand and playing with the other but it was not successful, especially when I threw the toy. I was too lazy to get it but for a while Kyo went exploring and I began to type again. Seconds later Kyo was on my hands hitting the keyboard. Then he sat down and started to purr. He was done playing and now it was time to cuddle. I sighed, picked him up and put him on my lap. I think that he understood that even though he was sitting on me, most of my attention was still on the big flashing light. Over and over again he would make his way to the computer only to have me take him off again. Finally he fell asleep. It was a compromise because I could still type and he was still sleeping on my hands. He is super cute and the perfect cat for Lisa.

Crazy

The break has been great! But it is over tomorrow. I was supposed to read a book today ... well that did not happen because I feel asleep. Tomorrow is the first day of my last semester. Yeah! I will be starting a few new classes, I am excited. Today Lisa and I spent spent a few hours looking for a kitten for her Christmas present. It was (tear) unsuccessful. I am sorry for her because she has been waiting for a cat for her whole life and she was supposed to get one today. That's okay though we will try again on Monday. Today is Martin Luther King Day!!!! I am so grateful for freedom for every one. I think I am grateful for all those who risked and lost their lives to civil rights. Yeah for the American melting pot and freedom for all!

Introduction

I am Amber. I will just tell you from the start that I am not so great at blogging, so don’t expect too much. I love to laugh, learn, and meet new people. I attend Timpview High School and Friday was the half way mark of my senior year and I am way pumped! In case you want to know, I have applied to college but I am afraid to tell you which one, because I might not get in, but my parents are both confident, which helps me to feel better. I am happy to be growing up, I cannot wait to leave high school (it has been fun and I loved it while it lasted but I am done) and to finally get started with the start of my life. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and I have a firm testimony of the gospel. That is a short intro to me, I hope that you will get to know me better (if I ever blog again) and maybe somehow I will get to know you, who knows.
