Thanks Giving day is comming
and I am so excited
Thanksgiving day is comming
and I am so excited
Thanksgiving day is comming
and I just cannot wait
Thnksgiving day is comming
and I just cannot wait
as through this you must see
that I am quikly loosing
all of my creat-tiv-ity
and any chance of choosing
After months of labor hard
and homework to my ears
it is time for a great break
and happy family cheers
So if you do not see me
in a week or three or two
it is not cause I am sluffing
it is cause I cannot move
from eating all day long
and eating all through night
and eating leftovers everyhour
til my toes are not in sight
Thanksgiving day is comming
and I am so excited
now i am rambling and not even rhyming
casue I am tired and excited :)
love Amber

Ushering Fall
tops of the trees
frozen ground
spreading leafs
windy sound
work all day
prep for night
still the sun
is in sight
Noses red
eyes still blue
icy friends
familiar, but new
excited air
reap the sown
fashion flair
feeding loan
piece together
once again
birds of a feather
at rest again
white pearls found
every face
love marks mound
warm embrace
the new season
finding care
brand new reason
to know he's there

A New Not Hate
When most of us are first exposed to modern art we may think to ourselves, “It’s a box,” or, “This canvas is splattered with paint, how in the world did it end up in a world class museum?” We are therefore confused and maybe even slightly disappointed. Thoughts such as, “I could have done this in like thirty seconds when I was five years old” come into play. I myself am guilty of voicing such thoughts on a number of occasions. Recently I had the opportunity to prove myself to world of modern art by trying my hand at a Rothko. It seemed elementary: create a background and add some rounded boxes. This is when I first caught a glimpse of the complexity in the trial that lay ahead. What colors was I to use? How big was I to make each box? I hardly knew what brush to use. I began mixing colors, drawing lines, and digging in my box for a decent brush. Finally I dipped my deprived bush into the purple/black/red paint and smeared it onto the white canvas. I could not help but let out an outburst. It had not been even one second and I already ruined the project. There was nothing I could do to fix it, so I preceded. I continued on in this fashion; each brushstroke accompanied by a cry of pain in seeing my masterpiece go to its doom. No matter how hard I tried, not one movement of my wrist came out how I planed. I came to the conclusion early on that I could not have done this painting when I was five and now, 13 years later, I was struggling. Did I enjoy this experience? I answer with a resounding, “absolutely!” Did I prove my self to the modern world? Yes. That is, I proved my self to be very much wrong. The modern paintings that I was once to critical of I now found meaning. I came to the realization that the original painters had true skill in creating a painting to show passion, pain, joy, peace, and many other emotions in a few boxes or lines. So, it may be true that that a person could paint lines and boxes similar to the originals. However, the difference is that they were not the first to express them selves in this way as the masters did. They defined new lines, stepped out of bounds and created depth in simplicity, and that is truly amazing.
Want to see my masterpeice? guess which one is mine and which one is Rothkos :)

Either The Rain on Your Parade or Icing on the Cake
I Sometimes wish that I can sleep all day instead of go to school. so... I compromise. I go to school and sleep through all of my classes :) Another short term win for me, long term loss. The blissfulness that comes with napping is swept away as soon as I remember that I actually have to get good grades in my classes. sigh. Life is hard. I guess that even though taking a break seems rewarding right now, a few years down the road, I would wish that I had worked harder. So it is time to refocus and stop being so lazy, which means I have to get rid of something.
School: has to stay, plus that would defeat the purpose.
Church: not even debatable
Social life: could go out the window... along with it would go any chance I have of not going completely loco.
Family time: Already lacking. Plus, they are my support system; with out them I would fall. Its a keeper
Me time: Already gone and has been gone for a while.
Sleep: ha ha not happening. Have you been round me while I am tired. Yeah, it a mess -- sleep stays
Work: non-existent
Blogging and Facebook:... hmmm...I think I found my solution.
So, to the thousands of people who love to read my punctuation deprived blogs, this could be the last one for a while. I am sorry but this is the only way. However, most likely no one reads my blog anyway, so this is not going to rain on any ones parade, yay. I would not even be mildly surprised if this post just made your day because it gives you an excuse to go without the pain staking moments of reading my blog posts with the side effect of guilt eliminated. Okay that was a lie. I would be slightly shocked and a tad-bit thrilled because that would mean that someone actually reads the junk I put on here, and that would make my heart happy.
